Why I did this cosplay:
I was overwhelmed when I saw this on Haruhi. It was so Japanese and adorable. Its a simple dress and I had the materials so I said to myself why not?
Attire:
Haruhi's dress uses two fabrics and a white ribbon around the top. I first sewed the blue dress part with a sky blue cotton, then added the racer back which failed miserably. So I had to use two lavender fabric straps. I then decided to add the white ribbon and pretied the bow and neckline then sewed that onto the dress.
I used two fake wig curly pigtail pieces and put my hair in pigtails.
Anything else?
This outfit was fun to make. I would like to wear it out but its such a nice dress to wear to sleep.
